The classroom sessions are interactive and encourage the students to think independently and inspire their creativity. At our Institute a student has an opportunity for interactive learning rather than the usual “listen & learn” approach & the students are encouraged to actively participate in the teaching-learning process. Therefore the classroom instructions are supplemented by students' presentations and / or guest lectures by external/internal experts.
The Institute’s class rooms and lecture halls are well equipped with modern teaching aids like multimedia projectors and computers with Wi-Fi connectivity. Electronic teaching aids like the OHP & LCD projectors (Digital Light projectors) are being used to speed up the learning process.
The recorded video lectures of NPTL help the student to understand the process in highly visualized form. Attendance is taken by the faculty concerned at the beginning of each session.
The Institute is proud of its small group teaching methods, Tutorials, that give opportunities to the students to talk about material being taught, ask questions, and discusses material with their classmates and a designated tutor in a smaller group. These help in developing analytical, application, presentation and communication skills of the students.
The practical sessions are ideal testing grounds for students to apply and test the concepts taught. We impart the intensive training to the students in all the Modern laboratories and workshops, as this is the most important requirement for the students to fare well in their future careers.

To help the students grasp the essence of an experiment, a batch of only 20/30 students is formed so that max 2 students conduct an experiment. The students are given informative and standardized laboratory manuals well in advance so that they can come prepared to the laboratory and obtain meaningful results.
Communication and language Labs meant exclusively for improving the communication skills of the students and are equipped with the latest video and audio recording facilities which help in providing practical training to students in communication skills.
Computer Centre with 120 Computers is also provided for the students to improve their computer literacy and to learn from the resources available online.
High level of discipline is maintained in the classroom. The faculty members are empowered to curb any disturbance and ensure that the time is used fruitfully. To this effect, students are expected to maintain decorum and refrain from causing any disturbance in the classroom. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited in the campus. Students are advised not to carry cell phones in the premises.
