Panchakarma includes Vamana, Virechana, Nasya, Basti karma &Raktha Mokshan, using a variety of Ayurvedic medicines. As far as the treatment methods are concerned, Ayurveda has described the use of Shamana (Palliative treatment) and Shodhana (Bio-Purification methods - Panchakarma) methods.
