Department of Computer Science & Engineering
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is one of the six departments at the Corporate Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal. It administers the bachelor's program in Computer Science Engineering, leading to the award of a B.Tech. Degree from RGPV University. It has been operating for the past 14 years with an intake of 60 seats. The department offers a comprehensive B.Tech. program that emphasizes Data Structures and Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Computer Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Networks, Neural Networks, Information Security, and cutting-edge technologies such as Distributed Systems, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Image Processing, and IoT.

The CSE department has much strength, including its high faculty-to-student ratio, well-educated faculties holding post-graduate degrees from renowned institutes, and well-equipped laboratories. It provides a strong theoretical foundation with hands-on exposure to practical tools, emphasizing leadership, service, and ethics.
Students in the CSE Department are heavily involved in learning programming languages and developing their own projects. Industrial visits and expert lectures are conducted to ensure that students receive proper mentorship from industry experts. Faculty and students often collaborate on projects to participate in national-level competitions. Our students have brought laurels to the department by winning in state/national-level events several times.
Graduates from the CSE department are primarily recruited by software companies, while some students pursue careers in the finance sector, startup companies, banking sector, and public sector services. Each year, some of our top undergraduates enter the MTech program in Computer Science and Engineering at other leading universities across the country.

Laboratory Facilities:
The CSE Department has four different computer labs with a total of 240 computer systems. The laboratories are well-equipped with all the required software and hardware components, as well as networking devices.
