Playing a pivotal role to enable the Country and State of Madhya Pradesh in particular in developing high caliber trained manpower in the frontier areas of Mechanical Engineering to take up challenges of the industry in the fields of Manufacturing Innovations.

All the labs under Mechanical Engineering Department are rich in its faculty as well as infrastructure. Laboratories and workshops are full of modern sophisticated equipment to carry out the practical and research work. The departments of the Institute regularly organize various extra-curricular activities, cultural events and excursion, conducive in creating a congenial atmosphere.

Our targets and planning:

To upgrade existing labs to promote problem based learning
To establish some advanced labs in the department
To strengthen sponsored Research Projects in collaboration with AICTE and DST
To motivate more candidates to pursue M Tech & PhD programs
